Make Sure You Are Receiving the Benefits You Have Earned

Many veterans may be eligible for VA benefits but have never taken the time to explore what is available to them or file a claim. If you have never applied for VA benefits, or if you are unsure whether you are receiving all the benefits for which you qualify, now is a good time to find out.

Visit or contact your local VA clinic or VA regional office to learn about the benefits available to you and the steps required to apply. You may also consult a Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) representative, who can help you understand your eligibility, available benefits, and the claims process.

Already Receiving VA Benefits?

Even if you are currently receiving VA benefits, you may qualify for additional programs and healthcare resources. Talk with your VA primary care provider about programs that may be available to you, including:

  • VA Community Care — healthcare services provided      by eligible community providers when you meet VA eligibility requirements.
  • MOVE!® Weight Management Program — a VA program designed to help      veterans improve their health through nutrition, physical activity, and      healthy lifestyle changes.

Eligibility requirements vary, so ask your VA healthcare provider or benefits representative whether these programs are appropriate and available to you.

Don't Leave Benefits on the Table

You served our country, and you may have earned benefits that you are not currently using. Take the time to learn what is available to you and determine whether you qualify.

Contact your local VA facility or speak with a VBA representative today. Your benefits are worth exploring.
